Do these chairs make you feel like you're in an old Italian home?

These pictures are from sometime last week, obviously not my office attire! Yes I know my backdrop is as gorgeous as it is visually stimulating... Anyway, about these shorts. About a year ago, my previous roommate and I went thrifting (we still do this often and it's always a barrel of fun) and found this perfectly blue pair of mom jeans. We then proceeded to buy them, hack the legs off, and spend an entire morning attacking them with scissors and sandpaper. The result is of us getting a little overzealous with the scissors, while at the same time having no sense of what can be appropriately classified as shorts. Had we have held back a little I think these could have looked like the brother to the holy/holey Acne boyfriend jeans/denim pencil skirt/denim jacket. But I love them all the same, especially when paired with something as structured as this top. Perfect when two pieces can balance each other out like that.
