Breezy Baby

I took these a few afternoons ago romping around my backyard. Well… if you can call it a backyard. I live in an old Victorian house divided into a bunch of apartments and the whole backyard has been paved into a parking lot, but there is this weeded overgrown patch of green behind the garage with ancient barbecues, a fire pit, and some benches. And the light was kinda pretty and my new lens makes everything look good so I think the pictures came out decently! I got this dress at All Saints when I was in Seattle and it is easily my new favorite… the cotton is so soft and it’s so loose and I feel like I’m wearing a nightie, even though the drape of it obviously rivals anything I’d ever wear to bed. I think it’s still available on the website so if anyone else wants to experience this glorious garment, go now! It’s seriously perfect for any summer occasion I can think of… Oh and these Zara platforms and I are fully devoted to each other, please no one try to separate us… Anyway that’s all for now, I’m going to be modeling in a golf catalogue tomorrow but I might be bad and go to a friend’s house party for a bit… byeeeee!

One Night In Bangkok

Well actually 2 nights. But we were super busy! It was crazy and we fully immersed ourselves, going to the grand palace, temples, boat rides in the "klongs" (canals), exploring the streets and markets, and shopping. Although shopping was one thing I wish I could have done more of!!! The markets there are great but we were only able to find/visit a few… though I got this amazing pair of elephant and floral print pants, a beaded skull bracelet, and two colourful embroidered rug bags. Overall the trip was just surreal and I already want to go back. Hopefully Phuket/Koh Phangan next time!!!

I Guess I'm Floating

I wore this out on Saturday for my good friend (and coworker!)'s birthday. I am so happy with this dress; the asymmetrical hem gives it that simple-with-a-twist quality that I'm kind of always looking for… oh and these shoes KILL but I love them so much, I would wear them with every outfit if I could but UGH NO my poor feet. Highlights from this night included the bottle showing up in a massive ice block/cube (naturally we were at Pravda), the dj playing all of my favourite songs from like 2001-2005, and hopping in a fountain before hopping into a cab home… oops on that one. Oh and we got to witness a free lap dance when "Somebody That I Used to Know" (of ALL songs) came on and the group next to us went crazy! PS this backdrop is pretty uggo now that I'm looking at the pictures as a whole. My sincere apologies!

Koh Samui: Installment 2

Koh Samui: Installment 1

I am BACK from Thailand and it was unbelievably amazing. I don't know where to begin. We went to Koh Samui and Bangkok and both were so incredible. It was HOT but I was often to distracted by the sights and sounds around to let it bother me (although had one meltdown… pun intended?… in Bangkok). Koh Samui was so beautiful, the beaches, the ocean, the weather, the people, the food! It was so relaxing and we ate great meals, went snorkelling, kayaking, to the fishing village, and often were beach/poolside…. the amount of pictures I have is just excessive and I'm having a lot of difficulty trying to edit down my favourites, so I'll make a couple of posts to include everything!
